In many ways Mhairi Black is just like any other British 20 year old. She loves football and is a season ticket holder for Scotland based football club Patrick Thistle. She also enjoys playing and listening to music.
But one thing sets her apart from her peers, she is now a member of Parliament after winning the Paisley and Renfrewshire South seat on Friday. She beat sitting Labour Party legislator Douglas Alexander by more than 6,000 votes making her the youngest Lawmaker in Britain in almost 350 years (after 13 year old Christopher Monckton in 1667).
Before the youngster assumes her duties in Westminster later this month though, she must first tackle a final year politics exam at the University of Glasgow.
Can you remember what you were doing when you were 20?
